SPECIALIZATION IN TEACHING FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

The Specialization in Teaching for Higher Education at the U.D.C.A. focuses on the quality of teaching and the processes of training and professional development of its teachers, as society’s expectations on professional training change. New demands for the strengthening of Science, Technology, Society and Environment (STSE) relations in education; changes in curricula and training times; development of competencies, training for research, reflection and criticism; attention to the personal and social development of students, generate important transformations in the role of the higher education teacher. The program encourages professors to activate processes of reflection and analysis about the teaching action and the importance of incorporating CTSA topics and education for sustainability in the curricula of professional and disciplinary training at the University.
