Applicant Profile

Become a professional in Sports Science committed and trained to lead the process of sport transformation in the country, contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of your environment and the construction of a better future.

At the U.D.C.A. you will have access to our university campus equipped with excellent sports facilities, which includes six football pitches, a gymnasium, a sports centre, an indoor coliseum and facilities for tennis, volleyball, indoor football, athletics and basic gymnastics. Likewise, the Sports Science programme carries out track and field athletics practice at the Unidad Deportiva El Salitre, and swimming practice at the Club Cafam.

The programme also has high-tech equipment for the evaluation and control of performance athletes, national and international agreements for practices and internships, semesters abroad and research projects.

Profile of our Graduates

The Sports Science graduate is a comprehensive professional with the capacity to lead training and management processes in the field of sport, which can be developed in the public and private sector in order to contribute to the improvement of the quality of the National Sports System.

Mission

The purpose of the Sports Science programme at the U.D.C.A. is to train committed and qualified professionals to lead the process of sports transformation in the country and in turn contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the communities, through the development of teaching, research and extension functions.

Vision

The Sports Science programme will be recognised in the national and international sports community for its responsibility and commitment in the fulfilment of its aims, objectives and goals, through the excellent results achieved through the development of plans, programmes and research, extension and teaching projects.
